43' Catana catamaran 1987, good survey, leaving Charleston SC, bound for Panama, as soon as she is crewed. Owner/skipper, is yachtmaster qualified, has been sailing 40odd years 2 Atlantic crossings Med Galapagos Caribbean. Boat just completing fitting out for Pacific. The boat is new to the owner. Looking for crew to island hop the Eastern Caribbean islands for the winter, sail on to the Western Caribbean islands, and than the Panama Canal during the spring of next year. I am planning a leisurely sail with room for suggestions of what islands to stop at along the way. I have 20 years of sailing experience, U.S.C.G. Master License, PADI certified diver. I am a 50 year old, non smoking male, excellent health, I have taken early retirement, and am interested in exploring the islands of the Caribbean and continue west through the canal to ?????? My Swan is well equipped, and in good condition for long distance sailing. The crew must be willing to share food related expenses and any activities off the boat. I will take care of all on board maintenance related expenses. I am looking for someone who enjoys sailing, exploring the islands, enjoys the water, as much as I do. Interest in diving, snorkling, fishing, and other water related related activities are all a plus. I would consider an inexperienced crew if the person has the right attitude, loves the water, and is willing to learn. I would prefer a female crew member for this voyage. I look forward to hearing from any serious contacts that feel the sea is calling them to an adventure of a lifetime.

Cruising the windward and leeward islands in the Caribbean starting November 2006 in the Virgin Islands. Possibly spend hurricane season in Venezuala and the ABC islands. Will be in St Maarten in March for the Heineken Regatta and the BVI's in April for the BVI spring regatta. Maybe a few other regattas depending on timing. Looking for one or two crew for the trip. Minimum stay is 1 month. A certified diver would be a plus. Enthusiasm a must. The boat is a well equiped Tobago 35 catamaran. It is equiped with 2 sets of dive gear.

Been living aboard for 2 years but my boat is not up for the voyage and certainly not under these time constraints. I need someone who can supervise a few upgrades/repairs and/or get her from Melbourne,FL to Honolulu, HI. Easy stuff: She needs to have the mizzen stays replaced, heat echanger replaced. Need to add a mizzen sail. Need to rebed the genoa tracks. Need to add backing plates for the lifeline stanchions. Hard stuff: Need to replace the joint on the mizzen gooseneck. Need to replace the headstay end/paart of the facnor roller furler.

I'm sailing from Portland, Maine, to Boston on Fri. Oct. 31. We'll either sail straight through or stop along the way maybe at the Isle of shoals or Marblehead. I'm also looking for crew interested in sailing to Nova Scotia in April '04 and in participating in the Halifax to St. Pierre Race in June '04, a 500 mile ocean race to the French islands off the coast of Newfoundland. Charlotte is an experienced, sea trialed, 10 ton, full keel, cutter rigged vessel. Lots of extra gear, equipped for fun and safety. Looking for crew that surfs or doesn't mind a captain that does. I am looking for non-paying crew to sail from Miami to New York City and then possibly to Maine. All the expenses of running the boat it will be my responsability..
